Gwinn comes to Marshall from Ohio University where he has served as Compliance Coordinator since January of 2006.

During his tenure at Ohio, Gwinn supervised the Ohio compliance staff and oversaw all day-to-day compliance operations for Ohio's 20 varsity sports programs. He assumed the duties of Ohio's Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in November of 2006 and served in that capacity until arriving at Marshall.

Prior to his time with the Bobcats, Gwinn served as a Graduate Assistant for Marshall's Compliance office and held that position from 2003-2005 before he began working at Ohio.

Gwinn graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Marshall in 2003 and a Master's of Business Administration from Marshall in 2005. Gwinn is a native of Pence Springs, W.Va.
