PHILADELPHIA, Penn. - Marshall University women's track travel to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia to compete in the famous Penn Relays April 234-26.

The Thundering Herd is coming off a stellar performance at the Eastern Kentucky Open where the team won six events and placed 17 student athletes in the top ten.

Among those victories was senior Teniqua Sutton winning the long jump (5.95m), senior Quinnyana Brown taking the triple jump title (10.80m) and junior LaTricia Jones earning the top spot in the discus (41.21m).

Last year at the Penn Relays, senior Rachel Blankenship, who owns the school record, finished 10th in the shot put event with a throw of 13.60m.
